Gordon & MacPhail bottles a series of single malt whiskies from one of the world’s most famous
distilleries – Macallan. Established in 1824 the distillery overlooks some of the finest fishing beats on
the River Spey.
Colour: Pale Gold.
Nose: Delicate Sherry influences with hints of raisin, banana, and beeswax polish. Sweet fudge notes are complemented by crisp lemon aromas.
Palate: Cracked black pepper with apple, banana, and grapefruit flavours complemented by a milk chocolate and brazil nut edge.
Nose: Sweet vanilla with dry hay, pear, and toasted malt aromas followed by bittersweet cocoa powder notes.
Palate: Peppery but creamy with green apple, banana, and hints of orange zest complemented by a charred oak edge.
Body: Light to medium.
Finish: Medium in length with lingering charred oak flavours.
